Grant CIRE

Link do formularza: Application form.

Andrzej Dobrucki

Oryginalna wiadomość:

As you may be aware, each year the Committee for International Research and Education (CIRE) of the Acoustical Society of America (ASA) makes fellowship grants to students studying for doctoral and master degrees in acoustics to help support their studies in their own countries. The International Institute of Acoustics and Vibration (IIAV) collaborates with the ASA in funding these grants. We are expecting a total of about 21 grants to be made to students studying in selected countries in Europe, Asia, and South America.

We would like to inform you that we expect that the funds should be available again this year. The student stipend grants in the past have been for a one time amount of $750 USD. We would like to suggest that you nominate up to 3-5 suitable master’s or doctoral students for the stipend grants this year. The application form, which each nominated student must complete and submit to me, is available at:

Application form

New students` completed application forms should be sent directly to me at crockmj@auburn.edu and to my assistant Margarita Maksotskaya at mam0066@auburn.edu

Please send me the nominations along with completed student applications forms by 15 September 2013. The absolute deadline for student applications is 1 October 2013, for consideration by the CIRE committee at the meeting of the Acoustical Society of America at San Francisco, California, USA, 2 – 6 December 2013. Further details about the awards appear on the ASA website under CIRE at http://acousticalsociety.org/funding_resources/international_grants
